This outdoor lighting control provides occupancy sensing, dimming control, and light sensing functionality to schedule, manage and monitor outdoor LED lighting fixtures. This control/ sensor package is contained in an enclosure very similar in style to a seven pin NEMA photocell. By equipping an outdoor LED fixture with a NEMA receptacle and O-10V LED Driver, a wide variety of fixtures can be managed by a wireless lighting control system. As in all LightinGale outdoor wireless controls management systems, this sensor packages uses a self-healing mesh network for reliability and plug and play setup. This iSLC-3100-7P control has a range of 5,000 feet (1.5 km) in an open field of view, for maximum flexibility in forming the lighting control network. These sensors are fully data encrypted using 128 bit AES standards for maximum security. This wireless lighting control provides for dimming of LED Drivers, monitoring of power, fault monitoring, alarm call services, tracks burn hours and provides for full remote control and scheduling of fixtures. This wireless control package, is an upgrade to the basic Cincom iSLC-3000 unit, and is capable of being used with many outdoor lighting fixtures, and MetroLED Lighting can aide in the design and configuration of the system.
For campuses, parking lots, parking garages, area lighting, or industrial lighting applications, this sensor package provides for great amounts of flexibility in controlling outdoor lighting. This set of controls provides an ideal way to trim back outdoor lighting to the minimum levels possible when an area is not use. It has added advantage of providing full scheduling, power monitors and fault monitoring services. This wireless lighting control is ideally suited to achieving the maximum energy savings in an outdoor lighting application. For example, replacing a 400W HID fixture (440W with Ballast) with a 105 watt LED Area light, results in an energy savings of 335 watts. When an area such as a parking lot is unoccupied, the wireless controls can reduce the light levels 70%, which results in an additional savings of 74 watts. This represents up to 90% savings over the original fixture during unoccupied periods. Added benefits of these wireless controls include more flexible remote light level scheduling for periodic events, more control over individual fixtures, the ability to monitor their health, and the ability to fully record energy usage.
